Harry Styles’ fourth solo studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (dated March 21) with 430,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending March 12, according to Luminate.

The set marks Styles’ fourth leader. All four of his solo albums have debuted at No. His last album Harry’s House (2022)  debuted with 521,500 units.

Of Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.’s 430,000 equivalent album units earned in the latest tracking week, pure album sales comprise 291,000 (it debuts as Styles’ fourth No. 1 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 138,500 (equaling 140.31 million on-demand official streams of the set’s 12 songs, it debuts at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums) and TEA units comprise about 500.

Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally’s first-week sales number was bolstered by its availability across multiple physical editions, including 7 vinyl variants (inclusive of a deluxe boxed set containing an LP and branded merch), 6 CD variants (inclusive of four deluxe boxed sets containing a CD and branded merch) and a cassette. It was also available as a standard digital download.

Notably, vinyl purchases accounted for 186,000 of Styles’ first week — the biggest week for an album on vinyl by a male artist in the modern era,

So I'm taking a guess based on the numbers that his streaming numbers in the opening week were worse this album than they were for Harry's House.
Because his vinyl sales are clearly better this time around

Over 200k more than Mayhem even after the absolute smash that was DWAS :saladga:

Whew, let's see how he does longterm

People forget that a lot of Gaga fans are millennials and we’re from the pre-streaming era and a lot of people still illegally download her albums. Or just purchase one physical copy

Idk who I despise the more between him or Ed Sheeran... Their music feel so fake.

I know these are some strong words but idc about these pop boys who produce terribly lifeless music.

In my peace era.

Ed Sheeran, tò me Is much more real. He had his own style from the get go. He's Just a bit vanilla. This One tries tò be Edgy, Way worse.

I think the issue with Ed Sheeran is that he felt like he sold out. He got a taste of success and turned into a chart chaser for a while (like Coldplay).
Like compare Shivers to A-Team.

The next era will determine his career longevity.

Mid reviews and this album made no noise (no smash hits despite a #1 song).

He’ll either do a Cheek to Cheek/Joanne to prove his talent and maintain consistency or a 143 trying to reclaim past glory and flop.

I got to admit that there are some Ed 's music that are good... But Harry Style is just a fantasy for the white American girls, he's just a straight metro guy who produce music that sounds like 80s pop music.

The Weeknd is far better (I do comparisons because it's usually the pop girls that are compared to each others, and never the guys lol).

I'm afraid he'll have a massive drop next week. I enjoy some of the songs but as a project it's not really grabbing me.

Oh god please no

what the hell would that even be?

you can't prove your talent if you don't have any talent to prove

Anything goes!
