Gaga basically only speaks out on gay rights (with a little bit of touching on abortion, voting rights, and Black Lives Matter) and honestly...that's fine! 

Celebrities don't have to be activists on every issue. Frankly, us as fans need to stop expecting them to be activists on every issue and putting them on such a big pedestal.

We should care about politicians more than singers and actors in regards to Israel/Palestine. And I say this as someone who is an Anti-Zionist and sympathetic to Palestine. Unless Gaga or Beyonce or Lorde or SZA (all singers I adore) started acting like Debra Messing (a straight up bigot towards Palestinians), I really don't care that much...even if I disagree and think they have the wrong view.

Lastly, Gaga performed 13-14 years ago in Tel Aviv and said the standard stuff at the end of the concert. It might be hard to understand if you are under 25, but the media and the general public viewed Israel very differently 13-14 years ago and BDS was considered a fringe movement here. She never signed the pro Israel letter to Biden-which Bradley and Lana did, among others-and so on. 

While we don't know her viewpoint, it's highly unlikely she is some sort of active supporter like Debra Messing. And nearly all singers have avoided discussing the issue (from Gaga to Bey to Taylor) because it is hard. Dua-who is very sympathetic to Palestine and left wing-got ripped apart both by Palestinian activists and hardcore Zionists in the media for relatively tame comments condemning the war.

I suppose not everybody is up to her standards though

When I checked about this I came to know that she indeed spoke out for Ukraine but she was criticised for not speaking about Palestine despite being a UNICEF ambassador. 

On a geopolitical level, standing up for Ukraine is much easier as a American than standing up for Palestine as you know which sides the US is with in both cases.

If something doesn't come directly from Gaga or her team then, and comes from propaganda magazines then it's irrelevant. It's even more irrelevant that a source claim that she performed in 2021-2022 to show support Israel bc there's 0 archives of this lol. 

She performed once in Israel for her fans back in 2014, not for the government.

That's uncool side of being a celeb and a philantropist. I wish Gaga only spoke about LGBTQ+, women, pocs and human rights in general without associating herself with governments. 

We can support human rights and having political thoughts without being associated to a party (that's basically my case as an apolitic) but that's the capitalist lobbying aspect of Hollywood. 

I think that one of the few star that show her support to LGBTQ+, women, pocs and other human rights without associating herself to politics is Mylene Farmer.
