At some point I felt the same goosebumps and burst of emotion like the first time I've seen the song mv. I try to not allow my heart to burn in so much hope for Mayhem before the release... Like I'm so madly in love again with Lady G. and her music, that I don't want the dream I have of a perfect album to shatter in smithereens... I mean the stakes are so high rn with Abra... Oh sh!t... I’ve seen fans talk about how she “doesn’t like doing pop music anymore.” Watching the video where she breaks down the creation of Disease, she clearly Loves it, she’s almost giddy playing it back for us. But we often don’t see her in that setting, we see her when she’s locked in and “serious” and in performance mode, where she’s hyperfixated on doing a good job. It was the same in Five Foot Two when she was rehearsing for the halftime show and she said her note from dress rehearsal was to lighten up and have fun.
