I don’t think she’s driven by success, she’s driven by artistic ambition and the joy of creation.  An album doing well is not going to make her abandon acting. Y’all acting like she’s constantly looking for validation before making her next move. It’s so clear she does what inspires her. She obviously loves acting so she’ll def do more of that but I think she also love music so much she won’t stop there either. The only thing that might cause her to push pause on anything would be having kids, which she has made clear is something she wants, but even then I think she’ll keep working in some form.

I don't think acting is something she'll ever give up. When she hit her stride with ASIB and it won her accolades, she really caught the acting bug and she's never letting go. I don't think it'll ever take precedence over her music and I don't want it to, but I don't see her stopping until she wins an acting Oscar. And I could still see her doing occasional roles after that. It's extremely rare for a singer to have a successful acting career but Gaga is one of those hallowed few and that won't be something she'll want to throw away. Acting is also a great second act for many singers when they can't pull the numbers like they used to or want to make albums far frequently, like Cher, Barbra Streisand, Queen Latifah and Jennifer Hudson. If Gaga can continue to get work like that, she'll always be successful and relevant and it'll extend her legacy.

I think she’ll continue to act between albums, as she 100% should because she’s a brilliant actress, but I also kinda feel like she won’t wait quite as long between albums this time, her energy in the creative process seems to be renewed and I can see that overflowing into the start of the next album.
