I read on Twitter that she can't dance like she does ever again. A minimum 6 month - 1 year recovery period. ARTPOP was apparently completed and due to be released in the coming few weeks - 1 month. No word on whether it has been pushed back. But no album PV's, MV's, trips around the globe to promote ARTPOP...NOTHING.

If we do get the album, I think it might fall on Little Monsters to peg the album promo in every orifice of society that we possibly can!

Like I said, I understand that and I want her to get her rest and still love her but I mean the situation just sucks. I'm not asking her to prance around me in high heels. I think releasing like a apology song (like a studio version of Princess Die) would be great.

yes, i know I sound like a real b---h but I really can't help it lol

she has no reason to apologize though. she's the one that is hurt. i'd rather her cancel & get well & then come perform than for her to suffer through, like she has been for so long, & know that she's hurting & we're the reason why.

Overdramatic.... And highly doubtful that ARTPOP was that close to being released. Realistically, if all goes well, I think we could see the single in mid-late April or early May and the album possibly in July or August. I think her early performances will most likely tone the dancing down to a minimum, at least for herself.

I can't belive what I just read.

She must be in so much physical and emotional pain. The last thing she wants to do is to let her fans down, so I can't imagine how heartbreaking this must be for her.

I'm so sorry for the monsters who won't see TBTWB live, but her health is way more important.

Get well soon, Gaga.

First of all, this is really sad. She's probably laying in bed devastated, so please since there's a chance she's reading these threads, make sure you let her know that she has nothing to apologise for. She can't control her health and for the last 4 years she's been working her ass off.

The BTWBall tour is 2 hours of dancing and singing. And during the last month she performed in pain. She's already done so much and fought so hard...and you want "an apology song"?

There's nothing to apologise about.

I hope she takes this time to rest and not rush into the studio everyday to finish ARTPOP. She needs to lay in bed and recover one step at a time. Get well soon!

Uhh.. she is in the hospital getting surgery.

If you, or anyone else has the disposable income to blow on tickets to a show outside of your hometown and the airfare to get you there, then that is your decision, and your problem.

If you, or anyone else has the free time to spend sitting outside for days on end for a 2 hour live event that you would enjoy just as much from an assigned seat that you can arrive to minutes before the show starts, then than is your decision, and your problem.

Here's a bit of advice to all you concert campers and travellers: I have seen her 6 times since 2008, and met her 3 times. I've never once travelled outside of my city, I've never lined up or waited for hours in the cold, or any of that other endurance crap.

I am so sick of hearing everyone complain about how they lost money over this, or how "she better do something special for us". It's because of that crap that she's in this position in the first place. She truly does have some of the most obnoxious, self-entitled, spoiled fans in the world.

I've never seen her live or met her (13th was supposed to be my first Gaga show) but honestly, these people aren't even losing money... they are refunding everything & I don't get why someone would camp. I'd rather meet her naturally than by stalking/interrupting my daily life/going to crazy lengths to meet her. I only live 45 mins from Chicago or I would've never purchased the tickets. Anyone who is really mad or bitter obviously doesn't get that Gaga is in SURGERY. Her health is more important than a show. There will only be more shows if she takes this time to heal. I am sad that she has been hiding pain because there are fans that will feel like it's the end of the world that they didn't get to go to the show. I was so excited, but I would NOT want to see her in pain. To me, that just wouldn't be right & definitely not entertaining. Wish more people thought like you. Congrats, btw for meeting her/seeing her so many times. I'm sure it was AMAZING.

I completely agree! This has ruined Scheiße for me, I still love it though. It's ruined only because I know the pain she was in when performing it for us at the BTWB.

I hope she heals soon so she's out of physical pain.

I hope she forgives herself sooner, so she's out of emotional pain. *

* Neither of these soons are in any way intended as Gaga-soon

Some of you are truly UNBelievable!! So, it's all about You, huh???

Apparently some of you children don't realize that this could very well be the END of Gaga's dancing days - - or if and when she tours again, she will purposely NOT go dancing so much so as to spare her body - - so, get used to it - those of you have not seen her yet - well, hello, you will NEVER EVER see her dance as she has in the BTW ball - boohoo and suck it up!

Any kind of major hip injury like this is serious - and rehab will only take you so far - chances it will be recurring....HIGHLY likely.

I think at future shows, Gaga will be spending a LOT more time sitting at the piano - as she should since she is a singer and piano player and songwriter; the dancing was just a fun thing that did not come naturally to her - and she literally tore up her body trying to keep up. Gaga will now have to stick to what she was born to do - SING and write and play piano - and that should be enough for us her fans - period.

I love her for who she is/ what she does for us/ & her natural talent (singing/song-writing) so I would not at all be disappointed by this. Honestly, anyone who would be/is is just a selfish person & doesn't love her for her. My heart breaks for her!

Honestly this is her body's way of saying, "GIRL, TAKE BREAK!" She's been going hard for wayyyyy too long now. I'm saddend that it had to happen this way, but I think in the long run it will be a good thing for Gaga (emotionally/mentally) to take a break. What the ramifications will be on her physically is hard to say, but knowing Gaga she'll work her ass off to be better than ever.

Also from a publicity standpoint, this will make her comeback more newsworthy.

Gaga needs to rest and spend some time with herself and just calm down for a bit. Hoping everything goes smoothly with the surgery and the recovery isn't too difficult like everyone is saying. <3 I'm not too worried. She's strong and persistent. If anyone can get back on her feet quickly from something like this, it's Gaga.

Who knows, the documentary could cover her eventual recovery and then her preparation for ARTPOP.
