Can’t tell if this is satire, but that’s just a common sh!tpost comment “anyway stream XYZ” or whatever it’s not serious

It's a tribute for a mass attack where more than a dozen people died. It's a little serious, yall. Using the opportunity to get a few streams for a pop song is insensitive; the focus should be on the tribute, the people who helped the community pull through, and the people we lost.

I'm changing my profile picture on YouTube to a Cher photo, exclusively to comment "Stream Abracadabra" on every serious video I come across :vegas:

they're literally random youtube comments, us talking about them right now are probably the most attention they'll ever get

Oohh my b, I didn’t watch the video/know the context and didn’t realize it was a tribute. Thanks for pointing that out, I take my comment back!

I'm just saying the comments are insensitive because they objectively are; whether or not they're getting a lot of attention from it is irrelevant. It's not the end of the world ofc but that's not the point.

She was definitely asked to do this instead of asking for an opportunity to sing Hold My Hand

This is basically where im coming from. If it was a random performance and ppl tried to promote a new song in comments i wouldnt care as much but in the context this performance was about, its a little out of place to say the least

An artist always benefits from exposure no matter what, if we faulted them for it everytime they could never perform for serious events and tributes

At least Gaga chose a song that fits the context and is relevant and it comes across less pretentious even if her career benefits

Telling ppl to stream a new (and completely unrelated to the context) single, i think thats a little more rude as it detracts from the emotional focus that was supposed to be
