Exposure is a con.

You never get repaid for your unpaid labour from exposure. 

Any orders that come in as a result of the exposure just pay for the labour of fulfilling the new orders. The defecit never gets closed. 

And lets be honest here. The amount of people who will go to a specific vendor simply because an artist wore their press on nails is low. The best the vendor could hope for is a small influx of orders from fans wanting to get press ons for a future tour date. But Chappell doesn't have any tour dates planned minus a few festival slots.
