So… thoughts on Abracadabra?

I love it. It’s exactly what I was hoping for. She really did send us right back to TFM and BTW.  The song AND the video sort of remind me a little of both Alejandro and Born this Way. I don’t know why some people have singled out the post-chorus abracadabraaaaa as being a weak point, I LOvE the dancey breakdown feeling of that part. This whole song, the choreo, the looks, she’s giving us everything we want. I’m so incredibly happy with this and so hyped for the whole album. I feel like we really won. And it’s like nothing at all that’s on the radio so I can’t really picture this as a radio hit but I love that she did this for the fans!  The waiting paid off, she’s truly back. Love her so much.

Absolutely love it. I love that both Abra and Disease lean into the dark pop side of Gaga in really different ways (Disease with the grime, tension, and grit while Abra leans into the darker euro dance elements with some house, 90s pop, and light rave/trance influence). Both super catchy and memorable in completely different ways, which has me really looking forward to the rest of the album

I'm floored. What an unexpected bop. I don't know what I was expecting honestly but this exceeded it. She's got fight in her. She wants to be on top of her game and pushing her artistry to new heights. HER FIRE IS BACK. I can't believe we're getting an entire albums worth of songs like this!!! What a time to be a GAGA fan.

This. You can hear so much emotion in her voice, both here and Disease. She's not filtered or glossed over as much as on Chromatica.. don't know how to describe it, but this song is so nicely produced and balanced

As much as I don't like Disease.... the more Abracadabra is a real banger. The Song do not disappoint and brings us back to our and her roots. THIS is what we really were waiting for since years 🔥

The hooks also have major personality! 

A recent reviewer stated he feels Gaga's songs have a lot of world building within and I couldn't agree more.

You know what? Idk if it’s the relevancy effect or what, but for some reason I’ve been unhealthily obsessed with this song since the Olympics snippet. I went to bed thinking about it and I had dreams about it. I had never been so invested and in love with a song that I hadn’t even heard. It dropped tonight and for the first time ever a song that I had hyped up as the best thing to ever exist, met my expectations. Idk why, but this song is my “Gaga” song now. It has such a hold on me and I’ve decided to allow it to do that
