Lead single doesn’t need to mean first single, it can also mean the single launching the album campaign. gumzy3000 7,757 Posted February 2, 2025 Share Posted February 2, 2025 Look, Disease is classic Gaga and fits in more with the Mayhem visuals but Gaga herself said the album will be many genres and both songs are on the opposite ends of the track list. There will probably be a smooth or interesting transition from the beginning to the end of the album that makes sense for both songs to coexist in it. Because of that, I say DWAS is the official lead single and I’m not here having a meltdown it’s included in Mayhem. If anything, it excites me more. It’s kind of like when Azealia put in Nude Beach a Go-Go in BWET. It doesn’t fit in with the album at all but it just works?
