"The Sims" and "The Sims 2" officially re-released on PC

The first two installments of The Sims franchise, two of the biggest and most influential video games in history, are being re-released today for PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Origin. This marks the first time the two games have been officially made available for modern systems. Additionally, for the first game, this is the first time in over a decade that it has been legally available for download. Both games are available in a bundle for $39.99 (which also includes some kits for The Sims 4) or separately, with The Sims priced at $19.99 and The Sims 2 at $29.99.

I can’t seem to find any info on this, but does the sims 1 and 2 on steam come with all of the expansions?

I already have it from when Origin were giving it out for free years ago, should I get this version?

 I have the UC though, but still it was one of the best stuff packs for the sims 2

no need if you did the required patches, like shadow fix, graphics rules maker etc. There's no new content just a re-releasse

damn the sims 2 is ELITE. the sims 3 was actually pretty great too with the open world. sims 4 is trash (and yet i still play it once a year for like 1 week and then get sick of it and never again bc its so lifeless)

The graphics can be a bit rough compared to modern day Sims, but once you get past that, the gameplay is great

I love the sims 2 graphics, I actually prefer it over the latest releases, if ea did a remake with an open world and more cas options but still honoring the OG graphics, I would love it so much. sims 4 interior design looks like you are playing a pixar disney game

I LOVE the graphics of the game! And I’ve heard nothing but great things as well but have never gotten the chance to play. Ughhhhh I’m so excited. Can’t wait to get off work.
