Whilst we wait...what do we monstrens think each of Slayhem's songs will sound like based on the tracklist? I do think we will get a mix of analog instruments (i.e. electric guitar, real drums, bass) mixed with electronic synths throughout the album, and overall it will be quite grunge/metal-inspired as a red thread.

DISEASE - gurl, we been knew

ABRACADABRA - based on the snippet, really hard-hitting industrial techno. Mix of dubstep. I'm expecting a soft bridge that builds into an explosive chorus as well. Lyrics are going to be nonsensical a la ARTPOP. I imagine her vocals will be quite raspy and chaotic too. Perhaps the 'loudest' / craziest song on the album.

GARDEN OF EDEN - i actually think this is going to be a bit more mid-tempo. similar to Ray of Light and Eusexua vibes with very introspective, but Catholicism-inspired lyrics.

PERFECT CELEBRITY - probably quite BRATty and hyperpop. I'm imagining a quieter / drop chorus, but rest of the song is quite 'in your face' and experimental.

VANISH INTO YOU - i think like 'fun tonight', we expected that to be a happy song. this sounds sad, but i actually think it will be quite a crazy, pop, party song. perhaps the 'brightest' and most 'pop'-sounding on the album.

KILLAH - i think this is the 'Notorious Being' snippet we heard as it sounds 100% like Gesaffelstein. can't wait to hear this one!

ZOMBIEBOY - pretty sure this is what we heard as a snippet in the Disease MV. i imagine the rest of the song will be quite rock, but the chorus more pop.

LOVEDRUG - thinking more bratty punk pop rock, like avril lavigne or olivia rodrigo vibes. or slightly harder like 'skin of my teeth' from demi lovato's 'holy fvck' album or 'MANiCURE'.

HOW BAD DO U WANT ME - i'm feeling like this one will be marilyn manson inspired, perhaps her darkest one. mid-tempo, very introspective, some screamo as well.

DON'T CALL TONIGHT - arena rock, heavy guitar solo at the end.

SHADOW OF A MAN - pretty sure this is the snippet at the end of the Chromatica Ball tour film. expecting the rest of the song to sound quite pop too.

THE BEAST - very Linkin Park-inspired.

BLADE OF GRASS - going to assume it will be quite Evanescence Bring Me to Life / Everybody's Fool / Going Under-type vibes with Amy Lee style vocals.

DWAS - again, we been knew :)

DISEASE: Closer by Nine Inch Nails

ABRACADABRA: to me, it sounds like 00s electronic dance? Very similar to Von Dutch?

Perfect Celebrity: I think this one may be the Depeche Mode 80s synth track that leaked

Vanish Into You: This one might be Notorious Being? Very Pretty Hate Machine- NIN inspired

KILLAH: euro techno/dance track can be abit gothy? - very similar to songs of Aleph by Gessafelstein

Zombieboy: Funky 90s dark pop inspired Prince/Bowie?

Lovedrug: This may be a ballad? I’m predicting may sound like Happy Mistake/Dope or the slow version of Kid Kudi’s Pursuit of Happiness

How Bad Do You Want Me: maybe a industrial rock song/glam rock like songs off Mechanical Animals?

Don’t Call Tonight - reminiscent of TFM/Monster but with added maturity?

Shadow of A Man - we already heard but it may be sounding like Born This Way with added Gessafelstein layers? Like the songs he made with The Weekend?

Garden of Eden - Madonna ish sound? Like maybe Hey Mr Dj or Early Gwen Stefani?

The Beast - May sound like DISEASE - Marilyn Manson inspired?

Blade of Grass - maybe a dark ballad like Dope?

Die With A Smile -

But in the cultural sense, I just speak in future tense

I've seen a lot of people saying that Zombieboy is probably the snippet in disease MV but... how do you guys know? Is it the lyrics? (I don't remember what she says) Did I miss sth ?

In the filtered snippet we can clearly hear her say "zombie", but we can't be sure if it's zombie boy, zombie bride or zombie guy.

A Very Gaga Holida

Am I really the only one who thinks Abracadabra kinda sounds like Fun Tonight (Pabblo Vittar Remix)? Idk, I think it sounds like a harder remix of the remix for some reason :ladyhaha:

I like the ideas but I feel like some of these songs sounds very radio-friendly... And the snippet we got are giving experimental stuffs

I'm here to take a break from university homeworks :/

Are people not aware that Garden of Eden is the girlfriend song? I already have the song stuck in my head since August 😂 I saved the full snippets back then so I have like 50% of the song on my phone since then.

Zombieboy : Funk, Goth, electro-dark indie, Darkwave, a bit of Talking Heads influences for their haunted vocals.

Killah : Techno, Industrial, Hard-Rock, symphonic-metal influences inspired by Evanescence. Typically influenced by Gesaffelstein heavy beats.

Shadow of a Man : Synth-pop, New Wave, House, experimental electro. There's going to be Michael Jackson influences on this one.
