Is everyone streaming Abra from TTH playlists?

We need some strong numbers so the song keeps a good position in the next update

Genuine question,

Why do we think the songs will repeak on MAYHEM’s release week?

Personally I'm glad they're not doing single covers, because this way all the attention goes to miss MAYHEM and the varients :huntyga:

If I'm not wrong if Abracadabra hits #5 it'll be her first top 5 since Applause in Germany

The Kendrick Lamar songs are meant to fall on the week after. If Abracadabra remains stable in streams and sales it will go top 10 the week after

Drake releases the 14th :nooo: I can't with this rappers... Can't they wait and release in June? :triggered:

I think disease will be the song with the biggest increase on release week, mostly because it's the album opener.

For some contrast, Alice did 3,111,581M on the first day. But Disease is a single and it's gaining traction again (yesterday it saw streams increase and rose on the spotify charts), already doing 1.3M daily streams :golfclap: Plus, now gaga has many more monthly listeners, and overall, she's doing much better on streaming compared to 2020.

I'm not sure how much of an increase we can expect but I feel like disease will be the song to benefit the most from the album release.

The melody that you choose can rescue you

Honestly I have no fear for Abracadabra, it'll probably peak in the US in the Mayhem release week

As long as have great peaks elsewhere we are fine

Yeah if it keeps having radio support and stabilizes on streams it will peak later, which is a good thing bc the key nowadays for a hit is to have longevity.

DziubiDaily

The average drop of the "new" (<30 days of release) songs on the top 200 last Tuesday and Wednesday was -1.30% with the pessimistic scenario being -5,2% and optimistic scenario +2,2%

The streams of Abra in the different scenario's would be:

Pessimistic (-5,2%): 5.94M
In-between (-1,3%): 6.18M
Optimistic (+2,2%): 6.4M

Out of the 22 songs that were on the chart with less than 30 days of release, 14 songs (64%) actually lost streams, 8 (36%) had a gain in streams so it's actually much more likely for a new song to lose streams on Tue>Wed than to gain. Given this + no additional promo or gain in radio + the streams decline of Abra yesterday and it still needing to stabilize, I predict it being closer to the pessimistic scenario rather than the optimistic one.

So to conclude: I anticipate around 5.9M streams for Abra today (but would love to be proven wrong :huntyga:)

5.9M streams is still a good performance btw. We could only wish for such updates in the days Gaga was streaming poison. Expecting it to ever challenge DWAS of 10M+ was always a reach and just not realistic, given this is a much less GP friendly song, not a ballad, etc etc. So we should really focus on the positive rather than to focus on some decline in streams.

How would you guys feel about MAYHEM receiving similar success to Charli's 'brat' album.

Obviously it did well, but a whole lot of its success came from social media/tiktok, not playlists etc.
