Newbies? I’m not too familiar with Sexy Red but Rose is part of one of the most successful girl groups of all time??? The one time Gaga has a bit of fun with some newer artists y’all act like she’s ruined her reputation-it’s giving such holier-than-thou attitude. Gaga has always been kind to up and coming artists.

Yeah I'm not at all a fan of this song. It's not a prudishness thing, because I love a lot of extremely sexual music, but I guess I think as far as explicit, dirty songs go, this one just... isn't very good? In particular I think a lot of the lyrics missed the mark and rather than being funny, shocking or sexy, they just turned out... a bit revolting?

Nonetheless, I loved the video, I thought the idea of bringing Gaga and Rosie in for cameos was really fun, and they all looked like they had a blast filming it.

I didn't expect this song to be top tier, but wow, didn't expect it to be this filthy and just...bad. To anyone saying that we're being prudes: you can like dirty songs but not every single one. There's a good and bad way to do this kinda song. I wouldn't bat an eye if this was a regular Sexyy Red song or even a collab with another rapper on her up-and-coming level. But this is a collab with Bruno frickin' Mars. It's standard procedure for rappers to tone themselves down when doing collabs with major league popstars. You have to if you want a big hit that gets airplay. Nicki toned it down when she did Side To Side with Ariana. Cardi toned it down when she did Girls Like You with Maroon 5. Megan toned it down when she did Beautiful Mistakes with Maroon 5. The first two got major hits, the latter, not so much, but still reasonable success. Bruno has always had sexual innuendo in his songs, but it's just that, innuendo, not in-your-face explicit. His charm has always been his classiness and the way that his music is so accessible. Neither of those things is present here. I love some dirty tunes but Sexyy Red is just not good at what she does. She was extremely lucky to get a collab of this caliber and needs Bruno a lot more than he needs her. I doubt this will be a big hit as a lot of people aren't liking it, a clean version is basically impossible and even a clean version couldn't be played anywhere. Yes, you can get a song that defies all that like WAP, but that's a once-in-a-lifetime stars aligning deal. This song is just mediocre so can't rise above censorship barriers to success. At least it's mercifully short. Probably because everyone involved didn't care enough to exdent it and thought "that'll do."

On the plus side, Gaga appearing in this is great promo, she looks great, it reminds people she also has a (much better) song with Bruno that's still big right now and that she's still culturally relevant. It also makes her look like she can have fun and take herself seriously, which she hasn't been doing for quite a while now. It's hardly a career ending move to just appear in the video. At least she's not got her name on it.
