Is the poster the same in all the vinyls? I don't wanna open them all if they are the same!

The more I hear it the more I can't help but feel How Bad Do U Want Me is like the emo/alt girl who hung out with the preppy blonde in theatre class equivalent of a Taylor Swift song.

Its a real ying & yang vibe.

Omg it’s got a similar vibe to the vault tracks of 1989 TV…and those were some of my most played songs that year. No wonder I ate up HBDUWM so fast. :air:

Listened a second time and I like it a bit more but still at the bottom on my ranking for her albums.

Man I used to trawl these boards being critical of her every move and I still think I’ve seen you hate what she does more than me

LastNight

I can’t stop listening to this album, it’s addictive. After my first full listen yesterday, I was either listening just to the new tracks in order or bouncing back and forth between them, but on my walk home from work just now I did a full listen through again. WOW.

The album has such movement and it’s just incredible to listen to. Disease through to VITY goes SO hard, full on dark bangers with so many interesting influences. Then the groovier, funkier Killah and Zombieboy… I know people have mentioned Prince and Bowie a lot, but you can sooo hear her love for Beck in Killah’s Melodie’s and vocal delivery.

LoveDrug to DCT is just pure pop brilliance. Can’t get over it. Love how the end of DCT leads perfectly into the MJ influence on SOAM (and even The Beast). It’s amazing how she then goes back to that dark, eerie feeling for Beast and BoG, and then we finish with the soft crooning on DWAS. Wow wow wow. Truly a wild, brilliant ride.

After listening to the Gaga Radio playlist you really understand how this record is a love letter to all the music that influences her, but with her own spin. There’s the aforementioned obvious nods to Bowie/MJ/Prince but there’s also Gwen, No Doubt, Scissor Sisters, Beck, mid-00s Brit pop-rock. It’s done with such reverence and feels so completely fresh and new.

Totally understand why she spoke so much about being a student of music with Zane, and even the website countdown focusing on her previous albums. This is the culmination of everything that’s come before but it’s fully launching us into something new.

10/10!!!!!!!

Also, does anyone get the tiniest hint of Nasty by Janet Jackson in Zombieboy?

Am i the only one that gets Michael jackson vibes from Shadow of a man?.tell me if you agree@PartySick :music:

Also killah has a very 70/80 Rnb vibe to it which is a era/genre I've never heard gaga really get into

Garden of Eden is my current favorite. Those harmonies and adlibs on the final chorus is one of my favourites touch in music. Also its kinda pussycat dolls meets nelly furtardo mid 2000s realness, but in a way only gaga can pull off.

How bad do you want me sounds like something off taylors 1989 and I mean this in the best way possible cuz that probably taylors best album but with gagas superior vocals. again the final chorus is beautiful. Love gaga doing simple love songs.

I don't think I've enjoyed a gaga album this much in a while. I don't even care if it smashes.  Im happy she blessed us with this

I get MJ vibes from the whole album!

She really knows how to channel his spirit. I wonder if she was wearing any of his clothes while recording like she did for ARTPOP (I think) and Joanne

🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼
