Americans are just exhausted at this point, I think. You can see the sentiment all over even this site. People just wanna live their lives and wait for the political winds to shift like they always do.

Besides, with a man in office that's openly promises to turn lethal military force against protesters you can't blame those who just wanna survive these next few years. 

But as a believer of "radicals" ranging from Luigi Mangione to Martin Luther King Jr (who wasn't as peaceful as you'll be told in history class), I'm here for the spirit I just wouldn't be one of the first out taking the streets. Just being honest

I think you're right about a lot of that, but my point was that we do have options. It just takes actually wanting something done enough to get off our collective a** instead of watching and crying. 

There'll certainly be bloodshed. One day, if we keep heading the way we heading, that's gonna sound like a better option than just letting everything happen to us. 

I'm not expecting this to happen soon; I'm posting the sh*t I've been posting to break up the (v understandable) woe-is-me posts. Words can turn the tide and prime people for future action. Call me an accelerationist 💅🏽

I already answered a similar argument. If you want to keep lying to yourselves about this, that's fine, but don't keep blaming people while your only solution is to "vote for the lesser evel" for the 50th time in a row. It was Kamala who said "I'm speaking" while Palestinian protesters went to her speech. She was one of the main faces of the Democratic Party while all this was happening. They don't give a fvck. And I already said, they are literally unable to, because the US cannot assert itself in the Middle East without Israel, and for that they need a powerful and allied Israeli government.

I'm mad at Democrats but it's really just hard to ignore that anyone that dies from this new West bank invasion is clearly somebody that wouldn't have died if Kamala had won. So what now? We can't acknowledge that we should've voted for her? We should have.

I disagree, that’s the very epitome of a lapse in judgment. Too many people lack the critical thinking skills to see that just because an alternative is presented, doesn’t mean it’s a solution. Voting for a change can result in a change for the better or for the worse, and it requires good judgement to identify which is which. 
So I do see a severe lapse in judgement here.

I believe about a dozen people have died with dozens more injured. They captured a refugee camp? Someone will have to double check me on this 'cause I'm sick and don't feel like looking it up  

Anyway, this is absolutely not where it ends. As I said, you can criticize Biden's approach (and he deserves it) but there's no denying Israel was on some form of leash while he was president. Kamala would have had an even tighter grip. Trump's just let the loose to do as they please.

I fully expect the "operations" in Gaza to resume after they get the hostages back.

Democracy isn't only the possibility of choosing between two corrupt old people every four years. It's much more than that. The fact that the Dems lost and your reaction is to say "there's nothing we can do" should really make you think. There's much more to democracy than inserting a piece of paper into a ballot.
