Just because I’ve been warning, and getting pushback for it, about this exact scenario, doesn’t mean I agree with it.

”Worst in the world” is crazy when Gaza is right there, but LA based artists (so many of your faves) can kiss their projects goodbye if they come across as disrespectful.

Happy Gaga is doing something.

Welcome back April 2020

Well, artists are still promoting their music despite the mess in the Ukraine, Gaza, the usual stuff in Africa etc etc. So....

It's easy for him to say when Motley Crue haven't put out an album since 2008, are not currently on tour and have been living off past glories for decades now. It's different if you're a new artist, not overly successful or are concerned about how much they'll have to pay to remodel their houses and will have families to provide for. If anything, artists will want to make money wherever they can to fund their rebuilds. No one was saying that artists should stop making money during any other past or present disaster/tragedy/war. But when it's LA, it's a case of "stop working, stop everything, stop the world." There's a world outside of LA and things have to go on or it causes economic damage. Humans have always continued powering on throughout every negative event, we're built to survive.
