Mario Kart 64/DD/Wii had not stunning graphics, lots of fun. MK 8 had stunning graphics, not much fun. MK 8 has many tracks... and I barely play them because gameplay requires no particular effort. Nintendo ultimately decided on this gameplay after doing experimental studies: younger players want it to be as easy as possible because they associate effort with stress.... I dread MK9 will be even easier, even less challenging. MK8 was BEFORE TikTok. Now 6 years after TikTok, it is certain what MK9 will probably not be like....
