It’s common for people in relationships to pick up on each other’s behavior, and he didn’t seem to set a great example. It sounds like they were partying and drinking excessively. I chose to believe that she - born in the BIGGEST city of music/entertainment in the world - had the support of her parents the whole time and even with THAT, her journey to Hollywood was tough and I’m still a huge admirer.
