My thoughts exactly. Honestly at this point, the album release just feels like a tick box exercise and I have a strong feeling that it will be released on 28 Feb and then old news by 1 March.

But, oh well, if Beyonce can put out albums with little to no knowledge of them beforehand, I guess, so can Gaga. It is weird that even though the album is so close, I don't feel as excited for it as I should even though its been over 4 years since the last one. I just hope this feeling is normal when your fave has been around for 17 years. It's like you don't have the burning lust you feel for your partner of many years but the love is still undoubtedly there, it's just more subtle and refined. 

You're so right about this. The way this album was teased but kinda some for chromatica Is Just painful for the fans. Even more casual fans, cause theres plenty Simply on her insta account. The timing for the teasing and releasing Is all wrong. Im curious abt the album, but i don't really care about It that much, honestly. 

I actually thought right away that the single being so distant from album Release wouldnt work. And here we are. Im not that bothered but i went from annoyed to whatever, ill listen when its released. 

Besides It all its Just not smart, She hops off and on at random with different things. Its confusing, disconected, serves no One. And She still works her ass off kinda for nothing in the end.

Like guys even besides the teasing from before, we had the cbt tease followed by ........ Nothing

Then a complete different project

Another different project

Then more teasing

Finally a single and then silence again. 

Then ofc the acoustic versions that i enjoyed but really created more confusion in the fanbase because well out of nowhere, totally different. With another similar version a whole week later. That was cool cause of the article. Its Just placed strangely in time. Articulated in a frustrating manner, One time After the other.

This. I was very excited till around mid October when it was apparent they are releasing it the very lasf friday and then the disappearing act just laid the nail on the coffin. Yea the alt versions are gorgeous, yea the RS interviews were cool but she's just not present and the click clacks instead of propper interviews or preformances are not it eifher.

I also think Disease deserved better than what we got, though I acknowledge we're in the age of streams and TikToks so I get why we got what we got. What annoys me most is the silence and total absence of build up. It is properly bonkers that there has still not been an album announcement by now.

You guys just need to accept that she probably won't be promoting her music non stop, like she did during 2008-2014.

And that doesn't mean that she thinks of music less or cares less either, hell girl has 2 massive performances coming up too don't forget. She's probably rehearsing mad hard for that as we speak.

Its not so much no promo. I actually think theres a bit of promo. Its more how its played out. It all feels very random or confusing at times. And the theres a build up that leads tò nowhere.  Sometimes the promo Isnt very interactive. 

For example the promo for disease started with frames of the video. Which actually seemed Like AN horror, and seemed interesting. Then She gives us Just AN audio. We barely understood what was the cover art etc. Why promote with the video and not snippet of the Song of the video Isnt Released immediately. Don't know theres Always something frustrating

I think LG7 pre era + LG7 era is so cool .. kinda sad to see most ppl not liking it.

for me it is:

Chromatica ball. How long have we been longing for a tour film footage. And we got it ! So cool 

Gaga Olympics + LG7 tease wowowow abracadabra!! 
joker movie + harlequin album. I love the joker song. Tbh… I didn’t watch the movie.. I will someday but I think it was cool to see her with all the promo stuff.

 

then dwas huge hit. Some monsters are only here for commercial success and she definitely did that.

 
After that disease. Website teasing , lyrics tease , great gaga-esque song~ her old vibes but new. 
 different version of the song ,acoustic, tik tok Gaga.

Carpool karaoke , Christmas song 

prob Gaga leaking steams , demos n stuff for fans. 
 

I could go on and on but this era is just one of her bests. At least for me. Its so intense and she keeps on delivering. 
I really cannot understand how someone can say that this era is underwhelming. Yes we don’t have a live disease performance rn. But she’s already working on Coachella and Brazil.

I think LG7 era is her best in years. Prob since born this way. 
and I’m a hardcore ARTPOP Stan but that era (even tho I also loved it ) was hard to watch cuz of all the announced things that didn’t happen. Imagine Harley Quinn tape session x 10 (if u know u know)

Will lg7 come in feb ?  Don’t know. I’m just so happy to get slayed by all of Gaga’s hard work these days .

i even enjoy not knowing much about that album. The mysterious vibes … fantasizing with fans. 

And I can’t wait to see what’s next. I just hope LG7 won’t get delayed, but if it does then she will have her reasons for it. 
If  not we are about to get weeks of snippets , teasing , reveals (cover , Titels etc)

This era is awesome.

I thought the lackluster Chromatica rollout had more to do with the pandemic and BLM protests but now I see that they’ve integrated that…strategy into their modus operandi. 
 

The next single is technically the third single now so it won’t even get sent to radio. Ladies, the era is a wrap once the album drops

Poor? We never got physicals. I bought a copy on itunes to support but i already have the music on my phone, why would I buy it 3 more times that way?

Gaga could post a blackout picture on IG captioned "LG7" and it would crash the site. Let's not act like it takes a lot for us to get excited. I feel like it's always been obvious Gaga teased when she did to get us all to shut up. We ask her to communicate and she does communicate a bit, and then she gets flack for just teasing. She's done like 3 interviews talking about the album, and has given us a heads up on the album release frame 5 months in advance.

The next single was not budgeted to be the third single, I think we're safe. And I think it's going to be a long era of small things here and there. Chromatica was initially supposed to have an extremely short pre-release era. It was going to be SL in February, ROM late March, and album April 10. But once the ball actually got rolling, Gaga announced the album date, tour, and first single within a week.

Honestly I feel like not doing a NYE spot for Disease & then an older popular hit like Bad Romance was just a massive missed opportunity to create some momentum going into LG7. 

DWAS is massive, but unless its more indicative of the LG7 sound than we realise then its not exactly going to lead into album interest.
