It’s not a new thing tbh. Kanye been doing that since at least 2016. 
 

all his songs get random new mixes every now and then. He already stated that he always gets new ideas for certain songs he’s already released. It’s nice to go back to certain songs and suddenly hear a new chord / new outro/bridge 

(great example is Wolves / Ultralight Beam / New Again,…)
