Ok, but now that I think about it, I'm actually kinda underwhelmed by this era

Her saying that the lead single will be out in october and the full album in february made me think we're gonna get 5 singles ATLEAST, and while it is kinda delulu bc after all its gaga, but it actually makes sense

Albums are usually released 2 months after their lead singles and we get a single every month until the album release

And no, it's not that I don't appreciate/like disease, i LOVE it!! It's just that I was hoping for a visual era with many videos like the born this way era and the disease mv made me want it even more, and I also had a feeling we're gonna get a dark visuals era. Thats it ig

I mean.. it kind of IS underwhelming 😅I feel like everyones Focus was on DWAS that Disease got left to rot while they were banking on joker being a sucess...

but hey, maybe single 3 will get some love from her and her team.

because u guys didn't make disease go #1, she needs to work on the album a little bit more. the most incompetent fan base ever, swifties would make DWAS and Disease occupy #1 and #2 + alternate between them weekly if Taylor would have released them.

I’m half expecting 1 of 2 scenarios here. 
 1) The album is delayed and will line up more so with Coachella

2) The 3rd single and album will release and they will pay both dust. She’ll do the scheduled festivals and possibly announce a tour beginning in final quarter of 2025 and then take a long break once it’s over (focus on starting her family)

Taylor would never release something like Disease to begin with  and if she did, she would've released 20 variants and physicals including vinyls, CDs, cassettes and 10 limited editions on her website including voice memos of her explaining the song the moment she released the single and scheduled the shipping of each format in different weeks to stay 20+ weeks at the top of the charts

And, yes, this fanbase is lazy and apparently also poor

Honestly I agree that the start of this era hasn't been great. 

But the expectations some of y'all started with are waaaaayyyyy off the mark and out of touch with reality. 

Like 5 singles, a single every month until release? This aint the 00s. 

Gaga hasn't done enough for Disease, I'd argue that's by choice and will probably be the standard for her releases moving forwards (she's barely promoted DWAS tbf just got lucky with its success). 

But despite that I think some folks were never going to be happy because they're still expecting marketing tactics that are over a decade old and don't match up with the reality of the current pop music industry.

Most artists now just drop their album without a ton of singles, so that’s something that could happen.
