Will DWAS effect the sound of LG7?

Most of Gaga’s albums have songs that sound too different to the core of it. And she hasn’t really done a CONCEPT album for it to follow a certain sound or story for fans that want to call it “cohesive”. 

ARTPOP is a good example of this. Going from Sex Dreams to Jewels to Manicure to Do What U Want, title track and Swine. Not to mention these are all produced by the same people (Gaga, Paul, Nick, Dino) and on top of that we got Dope. 

Now I’m just so excited to hear what Andrew Watt as executive producer does if he can go from Sweet Sounds of Heaven to Disease to Die With A Smile. I think we are about to experience one hell of a ride. Cirkut and Gesaffelstein being part of it is also insane. Like honestly LG7 is going to be her best since Born This Way.

I think Die With a Smile, The Poison, and The Antidote will be added bonus tracks at the end of the album. Not like Born This Way where they are inserted throughout. Maybe DWAS will, but I doubt it.

I dont get why. Yeah Gaga said it was a stand alone single but plans can change and 1 song is not in any way shape or form gonna ruin an album

 

And back to ur comment im the opposite I actually like disease even more. But that said I do love DWAS a lot too though. Its been a long time since I loved 2 singles back to back this much so thats exciting as hell

 

I think the last time I liked 2 singles in a row THIS much from Gaga was Paparazzi followed by Bad Romance so thays going on 15 years. Shes slaying me now

Don’t get me wrong, i like disease, i just don’t find myself revisiting it much for replay.

That being said, even though Gaga is my favorite, most of her songs for me are normally growers, and not showers. I didn’t really like stupid love until hearing it with the rest of Chromatica!

The anticipation is actually killing me! I feel like the title and the album cover reveal is just around the corner!

No. She finished LG7 well before Bruno even called her up for DWAS. 

Unironically, Interscope probably decided to include DWAS on the album in late October, around the same time Disease was released. I mentioned in that other thread, but if we follow Chromatica's release pattern, LG7 would have had to be submitted to the label for vinyl pressing and production at the end of October for a February 2026 release.

I was thinking about that. Melanie Martinez has said once that the vinyl pressing process can take up to 14 weeks. I imagine she isn’t pressing near as many copies as Gaga.

No, stop the drama omg, it's been done before and it's basically like having a bonus track. From what she has said, this will be something like ARTPOP or Joanne, that had different styles/genres
