vmpiregrn 1,255
this might be a silly topic! but for some reason i have always SO strongly associated ARTPOP with november/december, the holiday season really. and now that it’s cooling down in my part of the world and halloween is almost gone, i’ve been listening to a lot more ARTPOP. i distinctly remember being a kid and sleeping over at my grandma’s for thanksgiving and making her drive me to barnes and noble to buy the ARTPOP CD later in the day on black friday, and us going to dinner after. i remember listening to the CD in a portable CD player in the car after the fact. (i had an ipod touch but my grandmother didn’t have wifi at her home so a portable CD player it was). i would say i associate the fame with spring as its warming up and gearing up towards summer, and born this way with the summer. those are my only strong seasonal associations for any of her albums, and i definitely listen to each of these the most during the seasons i affiliate them with. anyone else have strong seasonal associations with certain albums? Lord Mayhem 3,752
Spring: ARTPOP Summer: The Fame Autumn: MAYHEM Winter: Born This Way 1
DESTROY UR DISEASE 21,687
hmm, lemme think a lot of these are basically just the season when the album was released or slightly after that. The Fame Monster is late autumn/early winter, MAYHEM is spring - even if technically that was still winter when it was released, and same goes with Chromatica and Joanne (so early summer and autumn). The Fame and Born This Way are both late spring/early summer and then ARTPOP is spring to me (probably because I associate a lot of EDM music with that season or with summer) I can smell your sickness I can...

AVeryGagaHolyDick 32,611
I fully feel that ARTPOP is a fall/winter album, I agree it’s very Christm*s-time coded The Fame has to be spring but it could be any season, The Fame Monster is spring as well Born This Way can be and is any time of the year, It knows no boundaries Joanne is kinda giving fall, but it works with every season Chromatica is for the night when it’s cold outside MAYHEM is can be anything too, but not like Born This Way. MAYHEM CAN BE anything. Born This Way IS everything.

The Breast 7,168
I'm taking it further - The Fame - Peak summer at noon, you're inside and the AC is on, and the sea is definitely visible - The Fame Monster - Probably early autumn, pitch black outside, if you're not home you're on a midnight stroll - Born This Way - Definitely right at the end of autumn, early winter - it's becoming a bit too dark a bit too early - ARTPOP - Spring, very early in the morning, the sun is barely above the horizon - Joanne - Late summer, relatively early like 9 am, and the sun has to be super beautiful - Chromatica just doesn't have a weather vibe it feels like internet - Harlequin - Either late summer/early autumn cause thats just when it released, or Christmas, probably influenced by Harlequin live also coming out then - MAYHEM - Every song is fuсking different man idk, probably Spring most consistently DEAD WILL DANCE FOR WHAT IS LEFT | THE WORMS WILL WAIT WITH BAITED BREATH
