Well, at least those are Gaga's songs and not "featuring Lady Gaga" The ONLY reason DWAS is even touching LG7 is to give it an automatic streaming boost. The fact that some of you pretend to not understand why that upsets a lot of us makes me wanna apologize for defending her against the Nurtec meltdowners, the Haus Labs meltdowners, the Chromatica promo meltdowners, etc. We'll get over it though. I might even stream her album a couple times. Wishing her all the success on her private jet while her billionaire fiance puts softball sized rocks on her fingers. 'Cause god knows if anyone's hurting and needs to boost their sales by chipping away at their own project's integrity it's famously-starving artist Lady f*cking Gaga. Not sure why I pegged her as the type to say "I've made my money, let me have some fun now". She did the total opposite lmao. The richer she gets, the more brand deals she grabs, the more PR friendly moves she makes, the more trends she hops on, the less she expends to do anything of importance. Can't even say Harris' name while giving her a whoooole ten minutes of campaign "work" (singing two songs and giving no real statement) when everything she claims to stand for was on the line and all for the sake of PR for a movie that ended up flopping hard anyway Ditches Joker, a project she was enthusiastic about, 'cause the reception was bad. Ditches Harlequin 'cause of it's association with Joker despite it being one of her best bodies of work to date and clearly a passion project for her. Ditches Disease 'cause DWAS was making more money. Slaps DWAS on the album so the album can make more money. One disappointment after another. I literally never cared about brand deals but this crap has leaked into her art (acting and music) and I'm sick of it. Y'all wanted meltdowns well here's my contribution. A true meltdown. This is the sound of my stan card finally being burned after a few years of side eyeing someone I used to idolize. Will reevaluate my mod status here at a later time 'cause I love this community even though I've fallen HARD out of love with Gaga. For now I'm gonna go nurse my little fee-fees with other musicians. Hey Party During the time I spent here I developed an affecfion for you, maybe because you stan Joanne as hard as I do. I just wanted to say imo it’s manageable to keep your mod status because of your love for this community, even though your feelings for Gaga have changed. This place needs people like you. I respect your opinion but I hope you can fall in love with Gaga again in the future. She’s still that person for me, one of the few good parts of my shitty life. StrawberryBlond 14,154 Posted December 21, 2024 Share Posted December 21, 2024 While adding the big hit onto the album will of course boost its interest, streams and stats, it's hardly the most Gaga of moves especially when she originally claimed that it was stand-alone. And guaranteed if it was a flop, it wouldn't have been acknowledged again. I just hope it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb on an otherwise dark or experimental album like we've been led to believe we're getting.
