Gaga's biggest issue throughout her career has been talking before walking lol and I don't see the DWAS choice as inconsistent with that

I was thinking more BTW, ARTPOP, Joanne, and Chromatica. Every one of them tells a story from the moment you press play on track one. It's infuriating that LG7 is, assumedly, just a collection of songs. Otherwise she wouldn't be so glib about putting Bruno's song on her album to give it an automatic streaming boost.

The day before she announced ARTPOP’s tracklist, she didn’t even know if MJH or BN would make the cut, and both are entirely different

I don’t think that’s entirely fair, tbh. It sounds to me like (or at least I’m hoping that), even though DWAS is undoubtedly tacked on, there will probably be a fair amount of coherence to the remainder of the tracklist. Even just between Disease and the other snippets we’ve heard (assuming they all make the cut), it sounds like the album has a solid industrial/dark pop sound and I’m hoping that (similar to BTW) even if there are multiple genre influences, she uses the production aesthetic and instrumental arrangements to tie everything together.

I woke up, checked Gaga Daily, saw there’s a new thread w 20 pages and was so excited to see what I missed. No surprise many of you are being dramatic af and having meltdowns over the smallest thing. Was Dope exactly “ cohesive” with ARTPOP? What about Speechless and TFM? Or You and I and BTW? Please just shut the f*ck up and hold your opinions until you actually listen to the album. Why are some of you even fans when you jump to the worst case scenario with everything Gaga related?
