So? Adding DWAS a few months before isn't last minute. What if they were debating about it long before DWAS was even released? Nobody knows so stop being so petty and mad about it. You guys care too much about what other people think.

The problem, for me, is that a decision was made about the album's tracklisting based purely and solely on the fact that the song did well on the charts.

It's like the antithesis of everything she used to stand for. Now whatever song was meant to close the project is no longer the closer.

The crafting of an album as a full body of work - a project with a message, narrative, and theme - is something that's always been important to me personally. LG7 has had that theme compromised two months before it's even released with a standalone single being tacked onto it for the sake of numbers and Gaga's personally trying to sell it to us as if it was always intentional and we know it wasn't.

If LG7 was re-released with DWAS as a bonus track, like Chromatica was with HMH, then it's whatever. They gotta push the product. But we're not talking about that.

The album itself is being changed solely for streams and here she is selling that decision to us. It's disappointing to say the least.

We don't know anything about the album though, so it's premature to say "This ruined the ending of the album!". It's clear that DWAS made it onto LG7 because of its commercial success, but that doesn't mean that she sacrificed her artistic integrity for it. 

We know that Gaga constantly likes to work on her albums. She's working on everything until the last minute, and in that process, things can change. Yes, DWAS was not the original ending for the album, but who's to say that now she doesn't believe it's the perfect ending for the album? Putting the song on LG7 doesn't change anything and it's not hypocritical to what she's been saying about the album so far. She's always said that LG7 is chaotic and full of different genres/energies (i.e., she specifically mentioned "dreamy" songs, which DWAS certainly is).

Creatively, Gaga is the best she's ever been in years. Ever since Joker/Harlequin, she's talked about how she felt "free" making LG7 and how she wasn't afraid to break genres and boundaries with all the music she's been creating. And that's evident. Harlequin, DWAS, and Disease are some of her best projects EVER imo.

I think we need to stop acting like this changes anything or that Gaga has somehow lost her creative integrity. And for all we know, it could be a bonus track or something on the deluxe version of the album. Hell, at one point Gaga herself said she didn't like "deluxe" albums, but that didn't stop her from making them. At the end of the day, she's also a huge commercial artist. Making commercial pop music is about blending art and business, and I think for the most part, Gaga has done a great job throughout her career of making sure that her art is at the forefront.

That honestly might be what will happen or maybe just as last track on album. 

If she added like 20 different varients then yeah it'd be a bit tacky, but it's just her collab from 4 months back.

I've warmed up to the idea myself since I actually play DWAS/Disease back to back quite a lot haha. Andrew Watt also has credits on both, both tracks clearly made during 2024, the themes feel like they reflect Gaga's mindset in present. 

LG7 will still feel special and meaningful even with DWAS attatched dw.

Nothing better than people lecturing others about how to react by criticizing people reacting to how they react  It's giving "it's my free speech!". Honey, we got free speech too and people are allowed to react to other people's reactions in the same way that you're allowed to express your thoughts and feelings.

If it's true that it's a chaotic genre hopping album, I hope it'll be something like Lemonade. Each song has its own sound but the album still flows well. You have Daddy Lessons and Don't Hurt Yourself on the same album, but everything works.

But I did want a hard hitting dark banger album from start to finish.

not bruno's fan at all, can't stand w a single (especially the lead) collaboration with the artist that i don't like even the song is huge and successful  just imo.

i can accept all the different genres in the album and call it as chaos, but DWAS? 

lets not forget she mentioned this before: xx oct: LG7 first single (which disease was)
