It's clearly a commercial movement, hence cheap. Most of us were not expecting this from Gaga, especially when shr clearly said this was an standalone single. But whatever, as long as the rest of songs are nice, I am fine with it

Suresies. I just don’t understand in general why people allow others or other forces to take their joy, you know.

Like, okay, she put one more song on the list, most likely as a closer, possibly in an extended version and not in the middle of the record. None of this takes from the fact that she and her team are unleashing an entire new era upon us. It’s a much happier life if you focus on the nice things and not small, meaningless details 🥰

I was kinda put off by this at first but now I’ve warmed up to the idea. I think it’s a smart strategic move. The fact that Ga/her label had to sneak DWAS into LG7 (and the fact that she wrote another ballad that didn’t make it into the album) tells me that the rest of LG7 will probably be too ‘experimental’ for the GP to digest (and I’m fine with that because I love WeirdGa). But her label can’t afford another flop from her because she is Lady Gaga after all, and they need to maintain the status quo of her being one of the biggest pop stars. So including DWAS is a smart move because hopefully the GP will check out other LG7 songs and maybe we can have new fans who aren’t only into ballads. Who knows, maybe we can get another Bloody Mary moment with one of the LG7 songs.

Disease is massively successful?

DWAS is and she says it's on the album so that makes it the lead single but she never said so.

Is the « artistic » choice in the room with us?

We literally barely know anything about the album and she said many times now that she wanted different sounds and genres on the album to create some sort of chaos. How is that not a perfect opportunity to put it on the album?

so yes, the artistic choice is in the room with us, but toxic fans like you should maybe not be in the fanbase 😘

So now we have Disease, DWAS, Abracadabra, Notorious being, Zombified(?) and possibly the Weeknd collab. 6 tracks. Possibly half the album.

+ Garden of Eden / Girlfriend

People don’t even know what the album will sound like, and are complaining about cohesiveness, or losing hype over the album (because a song is added on it)…..

You guys need to touch grass. Literally nobody outside this forum cares, and nothing will change. It’s as if she’s removing songs from the album…

Omg she is so full of sh*t recently.. :trollga:

Girl, you were posted about a standalone single.. You just can say "i cant ignore that succes" n its totally fine but..  :triggered: idk

Anyways its indeed totally understandable (the success n its numbers) but i hope they will not messed up the album's atmosphere because of this (wonderful) ballad.

It would supposed to be an industrial dark album and we are going to  "blend in different genres" :saladga:

Hope its for the better :queenga:

If she's including DWAS then Happy Mistakes deserves to be there even more so. It fits the theme of chaos better than DWAS imo.

I mean I'm all here for her boosting her number by including the biggest song in the world (it makes every sense).

However she specifically said that Disease was the first single from her upcoming record, which contradicts this move.

I don't want to take away any joy LOL She said it was an standalone single and now they changed their minds based on the commercial success. What's wrong commenting this?

My only hope is the other ballad she spoke about doesn't become another ARTPOP Act II...

I'm betting on will get a lot more droplets as the years go on :vegas:

OMG, intriguing. Cos in normal circumstances, that would be so different vibe and mood killer of the album are mostly upbeat and industrial inspired.

It's like listening to mixtapes or streaming playlists where you got all these nine inch nails & static-x going on, then suddenly hello by adele was playing out of nowhere, you know what I'm saying?

But with Gaga, I suppose she can make it work. Maybe LG7 really is the you her siblings to BTW? That album got a lot of genres too. And it is iconic, and to this day still my fave album of her.

So we will see.

Yes you’re right actually! Just scared we’re heading towards something that resembles more a mixtape than an album
