How did they not get any of these movies right. All 3 Venom movies are meh and these characters had so much potential.

It’s sort of mob mentality nowadays that unless a live action Marvel property is in the MCU it’ll bomb and then it just does sadly.

Plus Sony notoriously ignores a lot of comic accuracy in their adaptations, especially since they only have the rights to Spider-Man characters. Plus bc of Marvel they can’t include Spider-Man in their films without Marvel also agreeing to it. 

They also often lie to the actors, for example it’s pretty well know that Dakota Johnson was lead to believe Madame Web would be an MCU property. She even asked  for advice from actresses already in the MCU. Kinda like how Fox lied to Halle Berry to get her back for XMTLS

The fact that they've gone this long  making movies about Spider-Man characters that don't actually include Spider-Man is wild to me. I'm glad it's over. 

 

That being said, Aaron Taylor and his Johnson deserve the world and I will be seated in the theater.
