It’s crazy she included APT. I mean it gives K-pop fusion , pero like, remove that and the album barely hits 18 million streams. It sucks that DWAS likely won’t be included on lg7, that would have made it debut really high.

why wouldn’t she include APT?

it was always her lead single. She literally made album available for pre-save with the release of APT

Die With A Smile has not place being on LG7 and hope they don't do that for the sake of having a big debut. I'm a bit scared because there's a Chromatica Japan version which includes Hold My Hand and hope that's not where they go with these releases but we'll see what happens.

Dua did a Radical Optimism release which includes Dance The Night and it was probably to make the algorithm work into people listening to the album when they were looking to play the Barbie song so maybe from a marketing point of view it could help but does Gaga really need to do that?

Unlike DWAS, APT. was marketed as her new first single for the album, why wouldn't she included the song? 
 

Meanwhile DWAS was marketed as stand alone single, they didn't put anything about the potential of it being included on respective artists new albums.

Also, unlike DWAS, APT. is Rosé's song, she wrote the majority of it, not Bruno's. And she was the one invited him to participate in the song. Which is the other way around with DWAS. Surely you know DWAS was Bruno's but he just thought that the song needed something more, so he invited Gaga, if she is interested, since they were recording their respective new music in the same studio??

Here's one thing that I learned from "Shallow", "Million reasons" and "Die with a Smile" successes...

GP likes when Gaga does ballads. If she releases a LG7 rock ballad as a single with the raw quality of "Shallow" it would probably be a success. But yep I don't want a ballad that is too different to the sound of the album so it could be a dark ballad like "Speechless" with dark vocal effects and dark lyrics.

Million Reasons took long time before it resonated with GP. It was released as single October 2016, and debuted at #46, and only reaches its peak at #4 on Feb 25 2017 after she sang it for her Half Time Show, Feb 5 2017

Also, why didn't you mention Hold My Hand, which is also a slow rock ballad the way DWAS is?

Exactly, because it tanked and forgotten, it peaked at 49 on BB100, despite it's a soundtrack for a $1.5 Billion dollars movie

At this point we all probably agree that what Gaga needs is promo. She is an established artist and everybody knows her, but it seems all her recent hits are attached to high promoted songs. Shallow (and the rest of ASIB movie), Million Reasons, Bloody Mary... Exceptions: HMH... But sorry, I think it's one of the most boring songs she has ever released. DWAS is another exception, but Bruno power together with mouth to mouth played the trick here

Doesn’t change the fact that Bruno mars is the most GP friendly artist out there next to Taylor swift, and that most of his singles are hits. His influence on being on the song helped it tremendously.

But artists like Gaga didn't usually put songs on her albums based on that. She had a vision going on with each albums. If DWAS going to be out of place, I don't think she will include it.
