When you open the site the page is blurred and you immediately get a pop-up telling you 'ACCESS BEYOND THIS PAGE IS RESTRICTED TO ADULTS (18+)* ONLY' and have to accept this before progressing further.

There is basically no scope for 'emotional distress' other than inconvenience and maybe having to have an embarrassing conversation about why you couldn't access the site.

The link to the wrong site is a major cock-up but there is no case here for damages. That said, this woman will probably get a payout to make her go away quietly.

There is very much a case here. I’m sure Universal will sue Mattel for an insane amount of money for this wild mistake.

The suit was probaly filed earlier but TMZ have just discovered it now. I wouldn't be surprised if the mother notified them herself
