She is missing her comedy and her scary side, but most of all, she is missing her VOICE, Michelle can't sing and it shows. Still love her and the movie and the rest of the casting was pretty good too.

In most scenarios nowadays there is much money involved for studios to take risks on casting unknowns

Some projects won't even get to production without having big names associated with it and after a decade in development hell I expect Wicked was one of these

I wasn’t a fan of Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible. I actually think JLo or Imelda Staunton would have ate that role (in entirely different ways). But the director also did Crazy Rich Asians…so not a shocker she was cast.

You’re missing actresses who actually did audition (Taylor Louderman) and have lots of people who were just gossip. Gaga never auditioned. Her name was just floated around by directors and casting agents. Katy, Harry, Nicole etc never even got a script for this.

Had no idea, this rollcall is of legendary proportions. To think Katy was actually considered when not only is her singing criticised but she has never had a theatre voice is insane. And all the guys being considered were clearly just being considered based on their looks, eye candy. Jessie J is such a wild choice but come to think of it, she could have pulled it off, both vocally and stylistically, she already has that jet black hair. Think Nicole is way too old for the role, though, there's no way that would've happened. And J-Lo still trying to be taken seriously in movies remains an embarrassment, especially now.

Imelda would have absolutely eaten Morrible up, love Michelle but Imelda is a truly fantastic singer and actress
