I would dump my soda on someone if they did that or throw it at them. :neyde:

Of course it’s easy for her who don’t need to get in a crowded theater to watch a movie to say that.

when's the last time she had to drag herself to an AMC like..:ladyhaha:

i respect her talent but a lot of her takes are insufferable and cringe. capricorns… ugh.

luckily when i went to see a pre-screening in 4dx, nobody LOUDLY sang along. but people did clap and laugh. which was kinda fun!

Well it would be an improvement over her renditions (looking at you, unnecessary riffs and the 2 min break in defying gravity)

Suprised so many people are so offended by this. I don't sing in the movies cuz I'm too shy anyway but when people sing or talk etc I just see it as a minor inconvenience of choosing to see a movie along with 50+ other people.

I will be seeing wicked with a group of friends this weekend and even though I'm not looking foward to it, I will be expecting people to sing just as I would at a concert. I mean I can't police people's behaviour on their own ticket when it's not breaking any rules.

You wouldn’t sing at a Broadway show, so why would you sing at the movie? It’s not hard to wait for the singalong version that will be coming later in the year. Let people enjoy the actual performance without the noise.

Its different because if you sing at a Broadway show, you can very well distract the performers from doing their job? It's literally the highest level of live theatre.

Here’s the deal: if you can’t sit for two hours without talking/singing or using your phone, what are you doing in a theater anyway? Wait for streaming and knock yourself out.

if people wanna do that then they should wait till it comes on streaming services. I would have started a riot if fans started singing over Gaga in ASIB. if you've paid to watch talented musicians star is movies or musicals then you should be entitled to watch them and hear them to the best of the movies ability to showcase that, which is in theaters with no other noise or at home on netflix or something

comedy films are meant to provoke laughter but imagine if people started talking over the jokes? insanity

the way this debate have becomes real issues to some. :franminervini:

Cinema chains need to see this as opportunity. Like, idk about outside The States, but in here, the sing a long version exists and will be released on cinemas in December. This way everyone can win.

I, for one, knows that a lot of people who seen it on early screening that I attended, have said they are going to that sing along one too later. Mind you it's a sold out show, and like 80% of them came wearing Wicked or Oz attributes. Hence is why my screening was so great, nobody is singing, we were cheered and claps only when the credits rolls.

This is clearly not about police people’s behavior or breaking rules, it’s about simple common sense of courtesy.

It’s no different…I don’t need a lesson on etiquette, you might though!

This response is unnecessarily hostile, maybe you need that lesson on etiquette after all.
