Trigger 266 Posted November 27 Share Posted November 27 As I've gotten older, my taste in music has changed (I got into Gaga when I was like eight years old and I'm 24 now ), and Harlequin happens to be more similar to the kind of music I listen to now anyway than something like Disease (though I obviously still listen to Gaga when I'm in the mood). She's always been my number one but I've been harsh on her musically in recent years and Harlequin (though of course it doesn't have many original songs) reminded me of her talent, her versatility, and hey, half of these songs I've been listening to long before she sung them on Harlequin, so it was like an extra surprise for me. Plus, I'm a huge Harley Quinn fan, so a Harley-themed Gaga album is basically a dream come true for me. I still listen every day! I genuinely enjoy it, though. It’s rare that I want to listen to a song without having listened to it properly quite a few times first, never mind an album. It's a lovely album.
