Travis Scott's finally playing the gig that's been 5 years in the making -- he's secured a special guest spot at Coachella 2025 ... TMZ Hip Hop has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge of the festival's next lineup tell us Travis will hit the stage Saturday night for what will mark his first time back at Coachella since 2017 -- not that he and the concert organizers haven't tried several times to get him back there

Trav was originally supposed to be a headliner in 2020, but the COVID pandemic shut that down. Then, the make-good was scheduled to happen in 2022 -- but the Astroworld tragedy happened in Houston in late 2021, so he was taken off the lineup.

He's joining a stacked slate of performers, too -- Post Malone already announced he's headlining with the coveted Sunday night slot -- but we've also confirmed Lady Gaga and Green Day will be the other headliners.

The setlist for the last Gagachella was SO good  Just a pity a few things went wrong there, she's probably itching for a re-do with enough time to prep too. 

It also probably means another actually recorded and streamed performance that we'll get to see!

I'm so here for this because last time was very improvised as a replacement for Beyoncé dropping. I loved the show but I'm sure it have been even BIGGER if she had time to make it.

So yeah this time it will be her being picked and she will have time to prepare a big show

I mean yes, but I don't think ballads are ideal for Coachella , maybe 1 or 2 tops.

I hope the show will have a lot of LG7

She will obviously do the smash hits : JD, PF, BTW, BR, Shallow, DWAS (Bruno as guest ?), Telephone, Paparazzi, Alejandro. Hopefully Judas and Bloody Mary that became so strong since 2017 as Gaga hits.

Green Day as a rumour seems concrete, they're already lined up for a few other festivals next year on the back of the Saviors tour.

So at this point, feels like the rumour for Gaga is a lock in as well
