Judging by Disease, it seems like there’s not that much appetite from the GP for Gaga’s singles. If Disease, a good song with a good video, couldn’t make that many waves, why do it again and set herself up for failure?

I think it would be better to tease some snippets in January to create buzz, then in February release the full album + 2nd single + 2nd video on the same day. Make it a media blitz that the GP would genuinely want to check out. Attention spans are short and fickle these days, so I would focus all energy on LG7’s release at this point. There’s been a lot of Gaga content in the past 6 months from DWAS to Harlequin to JFAD to Disease. And only DWAS succeeded commercially…sooo I feel like the GP is going numb to it all. 

After LG7 is released, I’d let TikTok digest the full album, and determine what the 3rd single should be. Give the public what they want, in the hopes of Single #3 becoming an organic hit. 

Billie’s HMHAS and Charli’s BRAT both took off as full albums, not a collection of heavily marketed and pre-released singles, and that’s what her team should now try to replicate with LG7 since Disease kind of flopped. HMHAS was huge without a lead single, and with BRAT the singles released before the album barely registered with the GP. BRAT’s full album release and all the marketing tactics that came AFTER its release created its big moment and that lead to longevity.

If there is a second single before the album drops, it will be early on January cause it will need its time before the next songs n buzz. If we assume that the album will came some time in the middle of February, second single needs minimum 1+ month, so that means early before 12 January. If we don't take it till 17, that means we will take the whole album on February.

Either in late January, or maybe right before the album releases in February. Rain On Me for example dropped a week before Chromatica, so maybe similar to that.

Since she still is promoting Disease, its unlikely she will release another single before December. December is a holiday freeze and I do think that will stop her label from allowing any music to be pushed in December. So I am thinking 2-3 week of January for second single.
