Lil Nas X went viral with his song and he released multiple remixes towards the end of it's run to break the record. 

It's so wrong this song has been carried by radio in America when it hasn't had the same impact as Old Town Road.

well… it could be said then that Bar Song is more powerful cause it stays Number 1 without any remixes and TikTok support! True organic hit!
