I think a lot of this is also due to the results of the election. It just feels kinda therapeutic and speaks to this moment in our country

That's a good point but also unlike C2C, L4S and Harlequin, this was a full-on era/album that was counted as one of her main albums (unlike the Lion King: The Gift which was a side project, or The Carters. Both of which being superior albums to Cowboy Carter imho...) There are songs I love on this but the album are overlong and some of the choices are weird. (Why are none of her houston girlies on her album about being a Texan Country girl? Why are Post Malone and Miley Cyrus featured instead of Taylor Swift and Orville Peck? So many weird choices...)
