Houdini was released on 9 November 2023, as the lead single from Lipa's third studio album, Radical Optimism. The song was produced by Danny L Harle and Kevin Parker. Lipa co-wrote the song with Harle, Parker, Caroline Ailin and Tobias Jesso Jr.

The song debuted at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100, reached #2 in the UK, and debuted with over 5 MILLION streams on Spotify and has over 650 MILLION streams on the platform today.

Decodekid

A great example of how a song can be very known despite charting low, I would't call Houdini a flop ever. The rest of the album though I have different opinions :huntyga:

King of the Fall

Houdini is a really good track, I feel like the album would have made more of a splash if it went in the direction of the first single because it had a surprising amount of longevity. Radical Optimism was ruined by a terrible rollout but It's grown on me a lot actually
