I know everyone has their own stuff going on and there are different rules for different states, but I genuinely don't understand why more people don't take advantage of early voting. I was literally in and out of there in 5-10 minutes.

These numbers provide an overview of early voting patterns, especially among mail-in ballots, which could offer insights into initial voter enthusiasm by party. But remember, these are only mail-in ballots, not the complete vote count, so the final results will include in-person voting as well.

In 2020, Republicans significantly closed the gap with same-day, in-person voting. For example, even with a large Democratic lead in early votes, Election Day turnout for Republicans helped narrow the total vote margin.

If we assume a similar pattern in 2024, the Republican advantage on Election Day could mean that the Democrats' lead in mail-in ballots edge should ideally be well above 400,000 to maintain a strong position, which is currently 419,578. So it's a good sign.
