StrawberryBlond 14,120
I'm fully onboard with it now, one of her best ever lead singles. It's such an earworm and absolutely I will continue to watch that amazing video over and over to help with the video everyday until it hits 100 million views at least. I'm concerned that other fans don't seem to do that very simple thing, going by those low views and likes. Why does the video have barely 6 million views and less than 500k likes in 3 days? I also just looked at the debut chart positions so far. Just 2 countries got it into the top 10. What's good, monsters? 1
Bling 31,076
Still banging this song, and I can't stop watching the video. She truly topped herself and this era is NEXT LEVEL Gaga! mic 1,415
The song is disappointment to me, but I find the music video very interesting. what I dislike in the song is how it attempts to be hardcore but it does not go to that great orgasmic levels. Gagas best choruses are explosive, grand and catchy, disease is just kind of there. And that synth loop gives me headache. This is precisely why the song has 6M views in a week only imho. now, the video is frikking amazing! I love the fashion , how it all feels like a fever dream, the studio design and all. Fantastic, some of the best shots in haha video history I think Edited November 2 by mic
OMF 3,148
I haven’t stopped listening to it, I really really love it and the video is such a powerful, more mature progression of her Fame Monster and BTW eras. And her acting in this is way better than anything she has done before. She is definitely channeling her Joker 2 persona. It’s a stunning first single.
Awrah999 4,018
I will admit on first listen it was a little grating and not sure I was mentally ready for the song as I was expecting something a bit more pure pop and lighter for some reason. But it truly did grow on me very quickly after a few more listens, and it truly begs for repeat listens. I ended up staying up like until 4am listening to it on repeat on speakers, on my AirPods, and over ear headphones The nuances in production, her vocal performance and unique intonations, and the depth of the lyrics and ultimately the video showcasing that even further really make it one of her best songs ever for me, definitely top 8-9 songs she’s ever made. I have had it on repeat and my partner who doesn’t stan Gaga keeps playing it on repeat and pulling up reaction videos so we keep reliving it in one way or another I love that she always subverts expectations and goes against the grain of what is popular. Songs like Judas and Bloody Mary were not as popular in the time of their release but there is a staying power that comes with art that you really put your full throttle efforts into, unabashedly taking risks that break the mold and can succeed or fail. Gaga is such an exciting artist for this reason, and I’m so glad she released this song because it really has layers of depth and ultimately is just an insanely triumphant song.

DWAS is one of Gaga’s blander ballads, tbh, but glad some folks seem to be getting life from it

PartySick 145,728
I still don't really care for the video but the song itself is EVERYTHING I've wanted from her pop music. Grungy, complex, full of easter eggs, dissonant in places, it's so late-90s MJ coded

I do love the song but I kinda hate the video too. Excessively creepy with that red eye and neverending jerking movements. Glad everyone is enjoying it tho. I stick to the lyric video if i put it on youtube in the background 1
