POKÉMON: Mimikyu's True Form Revealed (DEBUNKED 😭)

So, we had a thread in here already about Gamefreak's massive data leak, with tons of sketches, concept art, and unused storylines. However, the most important piece of information to come out of the data leak, is Mimikyu's true form. 

For years, the character has been known as a mysterious entity dressed in a, poorly sewn together, Pikachu costume.

It was described as terrifying looking, beneath the fabric, but fans of the franchise never had the chance to see his real appearance, until now. 

Behold the horrific vision, of Mimikyu's true form: 

HE IS SO CUTE, I CAN'T 😭. 

I wasn't a Mimikyu stan before, but I am now . Are you shook to the core by Mimikyu's intimidating true appearance besties? 

EDIT: @27monster27 brought some new vital information to this important case, and ALLEGEDLY, this is a fake leak. It appears that someone edited the adorable blob over DeviantArt user @Cosmogriff 's concept art: 

It was a perfect illusion, mistaken for love.

No, Meowth almost died after seeing "nude" Mimikyu. It's supposed to be so much more horrifying than just a little blob thing.

But for real, I think this is just a crappy proof of concept, not like OMG THIS IS WHAT THEY MEANT ALL ALONG.

The Pokémon team loves goofy things. The idea that he can "scare you to death" but is actually just silly looking, is most likely intentional. 

I think one of the head directors openly said that, he explicitely demands a certain level of ridiculousness, from each design. He said that if a design makes too much sense, he'll send it back to the drawing board, until it looks ridiculous enough . 

I assume Mimikyu's true appearance is meant to be comedic .
