People have been posting this for a while and I’m pretty sure most of her fans are aware of this. She literally addressed this a while ago so this isn’t news. 
 

People don’t have to like her or listen to her music but literally no one is forcing them to do so, so them acting like their forgiveness matters at all is quite ridiculous. This idea that you get to police what other people should forgive and not is just not realistic. It’s the same **** people say about someone like Cardi B using certain slurs and later correcting herself and not using them anymore once she was educated about them. There’s no point in trying to educate people if your idea of education is completely shoving those people away.

yeah, i agree. thinking camila cabello  is a talented and legitimate enough artist to make a stan account  for is amongst some of the worst things you can do. it doesn't matter how old slayyyter was when she ran the account, if you don't immediately turn off cabelo's gusano slop "music" then I don't respect you. sorry slayyyter, i might unstan.

Slayyyter herself would be the first one to admit this. It's weird to pretend to care about racism in a bid to "win" stan war points when you could actually be uplifting and supporting black artists.

I just could not care less. She hasn't shown to be that person anymore in recent history; she was an edgy teenager making crude statements, shocker. Literal fascist, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, wannabe nazi are running rampant, give me a break and focus that energy on actual bad people.

Obviously what she said is horrid but I’m also not gonna hold someone to stupid **** they said in high school for the rest of their lives when they have demonstrated a clear and exceptional amount of growth into a better, smarter person. 

She has apologized and taken accountability which is a lot more than many early/mid 2010s social media teenage edgelords have done.

I know many have forgotten, but this was just unfortunately what a lot of the internet was like then. Saying the worst, most heinous **** you could think of. It happened IRL too. My middle school was full of little edgelords like this. 

We’ve mostly moved on (well, the MAGAts haven’t), and she is nearly 30 now and has clearly gotten herself together.
