It's kind of sick and sad to just vicariously live through someone else's success, regardless of whether or not they're putting out good work. It reminds me of voting for someone with false promises. abrahamidk 90 Posted October 28 Share Posted October 28 Quality of course, it's annoying that at this point LM are so pressed by numbers and streams, Gaga has already had that kind of success MANY times since the beginnig of her career, she's not a new artist and she doesn't even care about numbers since 2013 (if you know what I mean), I personally enjoy how disruptive and passionate she is with her craft, she's not doing things to satisfy people's expectations, at this point I feel that she is on a different path and it's okay because it's been wonderful for her career, she's not seen as a pop singer anymore, nowdays she is recognized as a well-rounded artist by the general public and not just her fanbase, and basically that's how you build an Icon status 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

That said, they're definitely going towards quality over commercial success this time. Disease Dancing GoE and Abra are amazing! This album will be my most streamed album in 2025 I know that. Also back to OP I listen to albums that are good more than albums that are more successful commercially (songs too) edit: in fact. Lots of music over the years have been the proof of this. Even Gaga herself did it.
