She's honestly insufferable. Even if you like her music, you need to recognize she's always mad about stupid stuff/ stuff that is expected when you're a celebrity. If she doesn't want to be famous, she can stay home.

Yikes, if she can't live this way with the media, I'm worried that this won't look good on her. Keep going and move on, it sounds so mothering asking for an apology. :icant:

"You yelled at me at the Grammy's" :icant:

Sorry, but this is just weird behavior. :deadbanana:

This!

While im definitely not excusing rude behaviour towards celebs, they cannot be getting triggered by everything

Sane with CardiB feeling like she has to respond to every comment she doesnt like on the internet

Your gonna make yourself sick in this industry if you dont let stuff go

Yeah people working in an industry shouldnt speak up about the negative aspects of their work or talk about improving conditions.

Outburts and speaking up are hardly the same thing tho

Meh, I would barely call this an outburst tbh. She was firm, stood her ground, and called him out.

Outbursts are different. But as someone who's been in a position with mental illnesses similar to Chappell - it takes a **** tonne of therapy to get to a point where you can channel the energy correctly. And tbh, the media deserve nothing from anyone anymore so im not even going to criticise someone being "unprofessional". Call a **** a ****.

But this comment by me was in response to someone complaining about her complaining. Which includes the times she's spoken up about stalkers.

This was my limit with Chappell, tbh. Over the past few months I’ve been listening to her less and less, but think I’ll fully stop now.

I like her music and think she’s incredibly talented, but her persona, outbursts, and thoughts on fame seem to be overtaking her music and art. I can appreciate she’s clearly going through something, which she’s publicly admitted, but she needs to figure that out on her own time and not in the public eye.

on another hand, she's inviting more outrageous behavior from papz because that's what captures her attention. trigger her and profit!! ignoring them is probably a skill celebs learn eventually, like how gaga seems to do it so gracefully.

she's shown her weakness and opportunists will exploit that.

This reminds me of me lol. I never forget how people treat me, and if I choose to bring it up you know damn well I will. Good on her.

I think there’s a conversation to be had about deserving respect and privacy as a human vs being entitled to respect as a wealthy, famous celebrity. People are going to want photos of you if you’re well known. It’s just human nature to be star struck. I’m not justifying stalking, but this idea that you can be famous and no one is ever going to react when you’re noticed is a little heinous. Also, how was he rude? We don’t know. He very well might have been rude, but none of us were there. What we do see is her lecturing him on a red carpet in front of dozens of flashing cameras demanding an apology.

Well, perhaps depends what went on leading up to it.

From the short video we have it looks like she went on of her way to walk to him to bring up what he did months ago. Thats a bit different to me than being firm if something happens

But video is short so perhaps i should give her benefit of the doubt

It was definitely confrontational, but I just think outburst is a little more extreme than what happened, that’s all
