Yall just to clarify this was not paparazzi, this was a hired press photographers at an event. It’s not like he was outside her bedroom window. I’m not commenting on her behavior just saying that referring to any photographer as paparazzi is inaccurate

The fact you say this kind of stuff as soon as someone doesn't agree with you... Let me guess I'm also a misogynist?

he's saying your attitude entrenches existing prejudices, discriminations and the like. this is a valid point. the only cop out here is your response

my head is filled with broken mirrors, so many I can't look away

I feel like she should’ve kept it prívate instead of making a scene. Especially because it was an Olivia Rodrigo event.

No, I wasn't accusing you of misogyny.

But I was pointing that your pushing a view I am very certain you'd disagree with someone if they used in any other working industry.

Lots of older generations used to put up with behaviour in offices, nursing, factories etc that weren't appropriate. They went with the mentality of "I dont have the power to challenge this, I either accept it or leave". And all that happened is abusive practices in those industries continued.

And then some said no. They stood up for themselves. They pushed back.

As a result nowadays the negative behaviours associated with workplace culture in the 60s,70s,80s are significantly less pervasive in society. They absolutely do still exist, but there are easy ways to stop them and challenge them.

And until this latest response I'm sure you'd be supportive of the changes that happened to make this so. So again, I'm just highlighting the hypocrisy here that people apply to Chapell Roan/musicians in general who speak up about what is wrong with the music industry.

You only think she’s insufferable because you’re chronically online and constantly consuming these soundbites about her. That’s your problem.

People on here defending the paparazzi and calling Chapell weird for standing up for herself is everything you need to know what's wrong in our society. Hypocrites.

demanding an apology from someone who makes significantly less money than you for yelling at you, meh, but I think it's good that she stands up for herself and I think it reflects the younger generation in general.

Honestly she really needs to spend some time with Kesha and fight the important battles.

These little moments seem a lot like she's letting her mental health issues win atm. Think any of us who have suffered with mental health are well versed in letting steam/pressure off through little battles 😅😅

Honestly it's good she calls this stuf out. After a situation like this a photographer might think twice about how they act towards someone.
