I think snippets influence too much on public opinion beforehand and though it can be a good thing and become a trend prior to release, they can also backfire because of expectations and generalized judgment of one fraction.

E.g. Houdini was trending on TikTok with the bridge snippet and once the song came out I remember everyone mentioning how they expected more based on that part of the song. Then she proceeded to release more snippets of the next singles and people were already done with the era.  A more recent case was WW, though it was inevitably going to receive judgment because of Dr. Luke, it might've done a little less worse if people weren't judging the verses for weeks before release.

It's a double edged sword, it can kill the hype or shock value too quickly, people move on too fast nowadays.

She will definitely tease the song once she announces a video will be released on friday too (which I think is very likely). That announcement will come on Thursday with a tease of the song/video.

- the full music video BEFORE the single released as silent movie with the lyrics on top… 

- then snippets paired with snippets of music video 

- and then Friday everything, plus a Live-streamed performance
