Absolutely! I was sitting there with an open mouth so many times. She feels like one of the last few greats, being able to tell all these stories that made up the image of a supposedly „Golden America“

The book definitely breaks the illusion most people have about Hollywood and "The American Dream".

The chapter regarding the AIDS crisis was particularly heartbreaking. I was literally sobbing while reading about her gay friends passing away. I knew she was a queer ally, but I had no clue just how deep her allyship is rooted. 

I need to get a paperback copy ASAP. The kindle version isn't enough 

I also can't believe she is 73 now  I swear she doesn't age
