I don't understand the complaints. This is the best album she released since Red and she knows it, of course she is going to promote it.

Promotion ❌ Cheap sales tactics

Promoting an album properly would be what Gaga does best - giving iconic performances of the songs on the album.

TS isn't promoting, she is simply asking fans to buy 35 versions of the same thing, plus whatnot.

She literally adds a fart audio to the album, puts a different filter on the album cover, and calls it a new version so her 1M hardcore fans buy it again, increasing sales exponentially, making her a lot of money, and keeping her status as a powerful selling artist.

Is she an extremely smart sales woman? Absolutely. But it's not the type of 'artist' 💰📈 I like to support.

Just because you subjectively judge it as "cheap" does not mean that it is. Clearly there is demand for this. The numbers speak for themselves.

And she performs a lot on the tour, and gives more iconic performances than a lot of other pop girls ever did in their entire careers.

That's just my opinion, the same way you have yours.

My opinion is that most of these new versions don't have any added value, and are simply a cheap way of making as much money as possible.

Instead of adding 10 versions with one new audio each, why not just add all the new audios into a single new version? There's clearly a financial / power motive behind it, you can't deny that.

Regarding demand, sure, we all know hardcore swifties will spend thousands a year on her music no matter how bad it is, or how many versions she releases. TS knows this and uses this for her own benefit to milk her fans as much as possible.

And iconic performances? 😅😅 You as a little monster should know better haha.

The full album sales is at 30M (including song consumption), this is for an album with no memorable hit songs (even Fortnight has died off). Imagine this scenario a few decades ago? Having a very mid album selling 30M+ with no hit songs?

I just see her core fan base as a bit of a cult (sorry!!), especially those who buy the 35 or so different versions.

I don't think 1 million people buying 30 album versions should equate to 30M album sales... This just leads to greed and common people wasting all their money on 'slightly' different album versions...

Also, since TS got petty about Olivia Rodrigo getting inspired by a 3 second bridge and demanding writing credits as if she isn't rich enough already kinda put me off her and her music!

I can't speak on that side of things. I don't really engage with that side of the fanbase. I was in quite a few Swiftie discords but left them all because most of them are very culty, but I also left some Gaga discords for that same reason. I am on the minority here since I really like this album, especially The Anthology side of it, which resonates with me because evermore is my favorite album.

Honestly I would say exactly the same thing.

It gets to a point that is just beyong reasonable? 

Especially if you're just adding a random audio to each version and it gets to a point where there are 30+ variants? 🤯 It's almost mind blowing.

For example, Billie Eilish released only a few new versions but they had a specific purpose (e.g. sped up version for new media consumption/tik tok, enhanced experience etc.) and wasn't too much.
