Mind you, the film that topped it this week is a gore fest with extremely graphic torture and death scenes. We don’t see flops like this very often y’all. It’s kinda giving.

It's actually insane and somewhat impressive what the JFAD legacy is headed towards, but I do also feel like the hate for the movie is a bit of a bandwagon effect and it will become a cult classic/fave over time

ARTPOP era for sure. Down to the fact that people will do a revisit in the future and call it misunderstood.

It's not out everywhere yet and home release is gonna give it a big boost. It'll probably make it's money back. 

But it's really sh*tty knowing that we're not getting anymore big swings in this genre for another decade since flops can't even handle a few musical numbers and a surprise death.

That's not why people hate this movie. I wouldn't even put those two things in the top 5 reasons why this is happening.
