Anveeroy 57,864
As a diehard fan of Lady Gaga, I can tell you that the past few days have been tough for fans of the movie Joker: Folie à Deux. It received negative reviews from critics and performed poorly at the box office. How are you coping with this as a fan? Any crazy stories? KennyRichie 1,734
I will always be with her, but I wasnt expecting such a roller coaster from Die With a Smile to Joker 2. What a ride. 1
weed 70,879
I'm sad it's such a flop, I thought through all of 2024 it was going to be a smash lmfao the biggest movie of her career!!! but it also has no impact on my life and I'm excited for Gaga to release LG7 and get new, better roles with better directors who trust her acting ability.
PartySick 144,453
What is there to cope with? Critical reception means nothing to me I loved the movie and I love the Harlequin album! I'm excited for the LG7 Lead and excited for what she has in store for us Just a couple weeks ago I was so down on Gaga wondering why I couldn't find joy in anything she's done. Even listening to Joanne (my favorite album) did nothing for me. Well...since then, I've made some life changes, got some good d, and she's released/been a part of pretty great projects so I'm back to LM core 6 2

clownery 3,381
I don’t know, I haven’t seen a single comment trashing Gaga in the past five days, and I’m not stressing about it either.

Battle 4 Ur Life 6,329
I’m even more thirsty than I was. that’s how I’m feeling honestly. will I ever care about the opinion of a lot of people including straight men who are just looking for something mundane to complain about online and/or at a bar? absolutely never. Auther 22,054
My mental state is not affected by the reception to a movie. Edited October 13 by Agunimon 3
Nessun Dorma 2,350
Well it was annoying to read hateful comments about her acting career and the movie itself. But I’m sure Gaga is already used to this s*** after all this time, so it didn’t really affect me. I did enjoy the movie, but I have this feeling of wasted potential. The long-awaited blockbuster turned out to be a target of criticism. I still think it was a valid experience and Gaga showed her best acting skills. I’m proud of her as always!
The Ew from Judas 380
Not gonna lie it got to me more than I thought it would lol. I follow a lot of film review YouTubers because of some of my other interests and I found myself unsubscribing from nearly all of them over the past week because they were all milking the movie’s poor reception. It was just annoying to see it everywhere I looked online, so I had to stop. other than that it’s been fine, I was never worried about Gaga’s career following this movie or anything, and the fact that her part in the movie is pretty much the only part being praised is the silver lining to me. but I was really looking forward to this movie and it’s just a shame to see it, for lack of a better term, crash and burn. But hey, I saw it opening night with a friend of mine and we had a good time so I did my part Ew
Bobina 1,260
It really hasn't affected me at all. I had my issues with the film but I still enjoyed it. I've never really let the gp's reception of her projects get to me. Even if I can't honestly say I love the movie, I'm grateful for it because it gave us Harlequin and I adore the album. Now the wait LG7 single isn't so bad 1. Because I'm enjoying Harlequin so much and 2. Because the single is literally right around the corner. This will all blow over before we know it. Ronk 14,485
Gaga's not being blamed for the flop, so I'm ok. I live outside the space time continuum.
